Insurance and Out-of-Network Benefits

Madison Elie Counseling, LLC is in network with:

  • Aetna

  • United Healthcare

For all other insurance providers, we are considered out of network. However, I provide a detailed superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, your insurance may cover part or all of your therapy costs.

I also work with Thrizer, a claims submission service that can assist with submitting your reimbursement claims on your behalf, helping to simplify the process.

Financial Assistance & Nonprofit Partnerships

I understand that therapy can be a financial challenge. To help make mental health care more accessible, I collaborate with several nonprofit organizations that provide financial assistance to eligible clients. These programs often support:

  • First responders

  • Veterans and military members

  • Survivors of childhood sexual abuse

  • Other qualifying adults in need

If you think you might qualify for financial assistance, please reach out. I will be happy to provide more information and guide you through the application process. You can find more information about the non-profits I partner with below.

  • The Headstrong Project

The Headstrong Project is a non-profit mental health organization providing confidential, barrier-free, and stigma-free PTSD treatment to our veterans, service members, and family connected to their care.

  • The Overwatch Collective

The Overwatch Collective is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit & Podcast with the mission to offer mental health resources and financial assistance for our first responder and military community.

  • Change The Conversation

Change the Conversation serves adult survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA) who are seeking professional counseling, but for whom finances are the main barrier to such services.

  • Hope's House

Hope’s House is a non-profit that helps cover the cost of therapy sessions for first responders in need.

Let’s Get Started

The first step is to schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation. This is a chance for us to get to know each other a little. I will ask a few questions about what is bringing you to therapy, and you will have time to ask anything you would like about how I work.

If it feels like a good match, we can schedule your first session. You will receive access to your secure, HIPAA-compliant client portal, where you can complete paperwork and share anything you would like me to know before we begin.

You’ve spent so much time showing up for others. Let this be the moment you show up for yourself.
